CHARLES LAUGHTON IS GOD

No offense to Olivier or Brannagh, Pacino or Nicholson... but LAUGHTON IS THE MAN!
What are you rebelling against?

I own nothing contained in this clip except the attitude. Marlon Brando as Johnny in "THE WILD ONE." (1953)
I Will Love You Always Lancelot & Guinevere

From John Boorman's "EXCALIBUR." (Orion Pictures 1981)
Just discovered Laughton via "Spartacus.": You have to see him there if you like this. Just mesmerizing.
Had this on 45 back in junior high.
Great song 🎸🙏🏽🇺🇸
Yep beautiful
RIP Dino.
My heart. It aches.
One of my favorites from the 60's..!
Skins brought me here
A haunting last line.
This is when punk was born
Isn't that cute?
Laughton is not human...
Classic line
simpsons did it first .. well actually no but i do like the simpsons version better 🤣🤣🤣
GREAT GROUP
Also 240P is all you got?
SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT
Best line ever 😂 Marlon Brandon a true badass
To this day this song kicks rocks pedal to the metal ass kicking great the drummer the keyboards and guitar licks made this a damn good band.
I love that he says the iconic line and is *immediately* ridiculed for it. Takes the sting out of the many times it's quoted and homaged, since I feel a fair few people don't know that's the line's immediate follow-up.
Isn't he just saying it as a joke?
The rebel, who has no values but merely seeks to be different by turning against whatever he is presented with, has no more examined himself than the conformist. All the rebel knows is he wants to be different, and all the conformist knows is he want to blend in. Both are perverse and shallow.
Women dig a Sigma Male. Queen’s apparently do too.
🇺🇲American Powerhouse Rock and Roll Band🎸🎹🎙️🥁
I’m rebelling against gang members, fight alone, don’t hide behind others
Whose puppy is sitting on the speaker?
Felix singing, playing keyboard, AND playing the bass line with his feet. Think about it...
The Olympics, the original version rocked it better, although this one rocks too!
The best Hunchback. Hard to list even one actor greater than Laughton. Brilliant.
Today a kid only responds to that if they are getting paid to protest...it's not 1968 anymore...
Guuuao que música como lo estoy disfrutando
A way better video is the same song on Ed Sullivan show
Stupid outfits there
Before there was Brando, DeNiro, Day-Lewis, Oldman, etc. there was Laughton.
Wowsers!
ua-cam.com/video/p_0CAxrAxJI/v-deo.html. check out this good lovin'
Originally recorded in 1965 by the Olympics. Love this song!
So...they didn't have a bass player?.... I know that's Dino on Drums, Felix singing lead and at the Keys?.... and Gene Cornish on Guitar?....So...who's the dude with the Shakers and Tambourines....and....Was THAT...his Station?...... ( Just Vocals...and Shaking various hand instruments?) I'm being serious. I"m assuming they didn't have a 'Live Bass Player'. So did Felix cover some of that from the Keys? Legendary Group, to be sure....
The bass was provided by Felix who played the Hammond pedals with his feet. They did various bass players in the studio though, including Chuck Rainey.
These guys are largely forgotten these days - great musicianship, great songs and great stage presence. Awesome band, and Dino - one of the best ever.
Fecking awesome !! I can't sit still ...up groovin around like a teenager again...woohoo !!!!
Crazy
1:58 to Prelude to Tristan & Isolde...prelude to disaster. Gets me every time.
Perhaps one of the saddest, most forlorn scenes in movie history. And yet, Charles Laughton (the best ever hunchback), shows an incredibly noble side to his role. I believe no-one ever needed a hug more, than he did at that moment. Nobody understands the disabled more, than the disabled - and nobody understands the broken hearted as well, as one who's been there.
La pelicula que llevo siempre en mi memoria. Un clasico del cine de todos los tiempos. Un Charles Laughton excepcional. Marco mi infancia.
RIP OFF
….The acting of Charles Laughton is a landmark of performance, deeply moving in its tortured however shining humanity. I saw it first as a kid in cinema, was impressed and have been ever since. This movie should be available to the young generation. Quality has no expiry date.
I honestly thought she was going to "slip" off the saddle at that point.
Saw them three times in their heyday. They were so much fun to listen to. The drummer was absolutely phenomenal! Led Zeppelin and Young Rascals best two bands I ever saw. The Rascals were electric.
I remember this performance,it alway's stuck with me because i remember seeing a Dog on top of Felix Cavaliere's leslie !! I Love The Young Rascal's Music and there stage presence !! R.I.P. Dino Danelli !! 🙏
uh, "live" -- yeah: guitar isn't plugged in -- always the give away they have to lip synch.
its all about Jenna Ortega dancing these days. this is from the 60's man. dirty hippies taking acid and stabbing Sharon man.
THESE JERSEY BOYS SURE HAD SOUL👈😎👍🇺🇲
